We would love for you to contribute to ME -HR & Learning

If you have stories, research articles, or book reviews or would like to do a spotlight interview we would be happy to feature you.

How you can contribute.

Here are some general guidelines:

1. Length: Min. 550 words / Max. 1,200 words. We need 550 for our magazine! You could submit both versions if you so require.

2. Title / Subtitles: Jazzy / Catchy Title and subtitles.
3. Format: Microsoft Word, or other word processor. Please, no PDF files.
4. Graphics: If you embed graphics in the Word document, please also send them as separate files.
5. Images: High Res, and, Landscape preferable. We like informal pictures too for our Spotlights.
6. When: We welcome submissions at any time.
7. Where: Submit directly to the editors:  maggie@me-hrl.com / uzair@me-hrl.com
8. About you: Please include your full name and position, a sentence or two about yourself, phone number and email address where you can be reached, and a digital photo.
9. Copyright: We strive to ensure we adhere to copyright laws at all times.
10. Editing: Editors will be editors! Should changes be major, we’ll show you what we did, as a courtesy. Otherwise, small changes may be inevitable.
11. Acceptance dates: Articles received in any week, published as soon as possible for that week. For articles received by the 15th of the last month in any quarter, we would do our best to have it published for the next new letter to our 9000 + subscribers. Articles received later would go onto the next planned journal / newsletter publishing.
12. Relevance: Please ensure articles are Middle East relevant where appropriate and are appropriate for the platform we represent.
13. Right to refuse: Please be aware that the final say to publish or otherwise remains ours and we would inform you either way, of our decision.

If you are in the Human Capital or Learning and Talent management industry in our region, we would love to invite you to feature in ME HR & Learning as our regular spotlight interview section

We can do this either remotely and written, via a video or a video interview, either online or face to face

What are the questions:

Here are the typical questions but these can be totally changed by you if you feel it would be more appropriate to your story

• Tell us about you, your experience, and your time in the Middle East.
• How would you describe the culture of your business?
• How easy is it for you to get direct access to the decision-makers in your company? Companies here
• What are your biggest challenges in the next 5 years?
• What are the skills and competencies that you would need to train in order to meet the region’s talent requirements?
