Give Your Online Audience a Seat in the Room with OowOah Live VR

What if someone hundreds of miles away could feel as though they were sitting in the audience at your next event?

OowOah Live VR brings live seminars, talks, training and events to people watching through a virtual reality headset. It gives speakers and businesses a way to extend their audience beyond the venue while sharing the atmosphere of a real event.

Designed to run alongside your in-person event, OowOah Live VR expands your reach while keeping the live experience at its heart. Your audience still attends the venue, while those unable to travel can join through VR and feel part of the occasion.

We are aiming to go live in late October, with the exact launch date to be confirmed.

Meet our founding speakers

We’re delighted to introduce Elena Buriani and Sara Haboubi, members of ME HR & Learning, as OowOah’s founding speakers. Both have helped us prepare for the launch of our speaker programme and will offer free events, giving audiences an opportunity to experience Live VR for themselves.

Their support is helping us bring real speakers and real events to people wherever they are.

A seat among the audience

The idea is simple: a 360° camera takes the place of one audience seat, positioned at the eye level of a seated attendee. It captures the speaker, the stage and the surrounding room.

Someone joining through a VR headset can watch the speaker and turn their head to look around the venue. They experience the event from the camera’s position, with the audience around them.

This sense of presence makes Live VR different from watching a conventional video stream. The viewer has a place within the scene and can choose where to look.

An opportunity for speakers and businesses

A venue has a limited number of seats, and travelling to an event takes time and money. Some people who would like to attend simply cannot make the journey.

OowOah Live VR gives organisers another way to welcome those people. Speakers deliver their talk to the room while reaching remote viewers through the same live event.

For HR and learning professionals, this creates opportunities to share training, leadership talks and professional development events with colleagues across different locations. Speakers and businesses can also offer paid access to remote audiences, creating an additional income opportunity alongside their in-person ticket sales.

Introducing OowOah

Alongside Live VR, OowOah VR Meeting Rooms provides shared virtual spaces where teams can meet, present and collaborate using multiple screens and AI meeting notes.

OowOah also includes Quantum Leap, which shares a live first-person view from someone carrying out a task, helping others observe demonstrations and learn remotely.

Our initial focus is on welcoming speakers, businesses and audiences to Live VR, starting with the free events offered by Elena and Sara.
