Youssouf Djire shares his journey of being to being CEO of 3novex APAC and Asia
1. Tell us about you, your experience, and your time in the Middle East.
I’m Youssouf Djire, Chairman and CEO of 3novex Global, a leading organizer of B2B conferences across APAC and MENA. Since 2018, we’ve operated our APAC branch in Malaysia, running high-impact events in the Philippines, Thailand, and Malaysia, and in 2022, we expanded to Dubai as our MENA hub, hosting events in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. With over 30 years of global event management experience, I’ve built platforms where industry leaders, including Fortune 500 executives, converge to drive innovation. Our JustNetwork platform, a bootstrapped all-in-one solution for event registration, community building, HD video calls, dashboards, and meeting scheduling, has transformed post-event networking, addressing key challenges for our 100 C-Suite Series attendees.
2. How would you describe the culture of your business?
At 3novex Global, our culture thrives on innovation, collaboration, and impact. We empower our team to deliver high-impact conferences and solutions like JustNetwork, which has revolutionized networking for C-level executives. With 40% of our staff with us since inception and 50% for 3 to 4 years, our teams dedication fuels our success. We prioritize excellence and adaptability, ensuring our events and platforms create lasting value for sponsors and attendees, particularly for our 100 C-Suite Series with CPO, CHRO, and CISO events.
3. How easy is it for you to get direct access to decision-makers in your company?
As CEO, I maintain an open-door policy, ensuring direct access to our team, from co- founders such as Rashidah Ibrahim (CBO) to newer members. This structure fosters trans- parency and agility, enabling swift decision-making. Our JustNetwork platform enhances this accessibility externally by connecting C-level executives from Fortune 500 companies at our 100 C-Suite Series, facilitating strategic partnerships and actionable insights through seamless networking tools.
4. What are your biggest challenges in the next 5 years?
Scaling our 100 C-Suite Series (CPO, CHRO, CISO) while maintaining tailored, high- quality experiences is a key challenge. Expanding JustNetworks reach across APAC and MENA, particularly in markets like Saudi Arabia and Vietnam, requires navigating diverse landscapes. We’re also raising a seed round to establish a commercial and operational team in the UAE to support JustNetworks growth. Balancing investment in operations, speakers, and digital transformation for hybrid events will be critical to sustaining our impact.
5. What are the skills and competencies you need to meet the regions talent requirements?
To meet APAC and MENAs talent demands, we seek expertise in event management, digital platforms, and strategic partnerships. For JustNetwork, skills in tech develop- ment, UI/UX design, and customer success are vital to enhance its event registration, community, and networking features. Competencies like cultural intelligence and data- driven decision-making are crucial for delivering events and platforms that resonate with diverse audiences, especially Fortune 500 leaders. We’re investing in upskilling to stay ahead of industry trends.
