MOHRE Launches Customer First Virtual Forum

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) has launched the Customer First Forum, which comprises virtual sessions scheduled on a weekly basis to respond to queries of the employers and employees in the private sector as well as UAE nationals seeking employment.The Customer First Forum aims to listen to feedback of all parties on the labour market legislations to help the stakeholders benefit from the Ministry’s initiatives and services and seek their suggestions to enhance direct communications between the Ministry and the private sector.

As the target deadline approaches to achieve the Ministry-led Emiratisation goals for the private sector, starting in January 2023, the Customer First Forum is designed to address topics that raise awareness of the Emiratisation resolutions, programs and benefits provided by the Nafis program to promote the integration of UAE nationals into the private sector.

The forum also addresses topics related to labour relations, inspections, procedures, and decisions towards implementing the labour relations law and raising awareness of the rights and responsibilities of the employers and employees.

His Excellency Saif Al Suwaidi, Undersecretary for Emiratisation Affairs at MOHRE, said: “The launch of the virtual Customer First Forum comes in line with the Ministry’s commitment to enhance direct communication channels with our stakeholders, and a platform to receive feedback, observations, views and proposals.”

“Initiatives such as these would help improve our services in line with the Ministry’s commitment to empowering Emirati cadres and enhancing their capabilities, skills and expertise in contributing towards bolstering the national economy. In addition, such initiatives and interaction would improve the ability and appeal of the UAE labour market, which would attract the finest of local and international talent who are best equipped to help strengthen the UAE national economy and boost the country’s competitiveness on the international map,” he added.

“The weekly sessions represent an interactive platform that will enhance constructive dialogue and raise awareness about the country’s labour market legislations, which will reflect our efforts to improve the business environment in the country.”

His Excellency Khalil Al Khouri, Acting Undersecretary for Human Resources Affairs at MOHRE, said: “These virtual sessions are part of the digital interface adopted by the UAE government, which is witnessing major transformations in information and communication technology.”

Al Khouri stressed that the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation’s endeavour to educate customers through various communication channels and meet their needs and identify challenges is based on its aspirations to communicate permanently and directly with the private sector, in addition to enabling components of the labour market to express opinions and suggestions for the development of services.
