6th Edition of the MoHRE Excellence Award 2024

His Excellency Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, honoured the winners of the sixth edition of “the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation Excellence Award”. The award recognized 50 outstanding employees and administrative units across different categories.

The award aims to raise awareness about the importance of excellence and how it supports leadership. It also aims to foster a competitive work environment that motivates employees to achieve their goals, promote the use of modern administrative concepts that prioritize customer satisfaction, and enhance the capabilities of all organizational units within the Ministry to achieve excellence.

The purpose of the award is to enhance the performance of individuals and organizational units, and align their work with the Ministry’s objectives. It also supports the UAE’s vision, and aims to enhance its global position in the labour market, and the areas of distinguished government work, innovation, and achievement.

The categories and criteria of the MOHRE Excellence Award align with those of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Government Excellence Award. The Award consists of three categories: institutional awards, sub-institutional awards, and individual awards. The Individual awards include the supervisory jobs category, specialized jobs category, and other categories.

In a ceremony held in Dubai and attended by the Ministry’s top management and employees, H.E. Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, said: “The award reflects the vision of our wise leadership in promoting excellence in the government work system. This approach is based on the culture of creativity and innovation, aiming to strengthen the foundations of an integrated work system. The award aims to inspire achievements, keep pace with developments, and elevate the UAE’s position regionally and globally.”

His Excellency congratulated the award winners including the Ministry employees and administrative units. He praised the employees for their efforts and dedication towards achieving the Ministry’s strategic goals. His Excellency commended the healthy competition among the teams and their determination to work collaboratively towards a common goal.

In the category of the Best Division in Achieving the Vision of the Ministry, the National Human Resources Employment Sector ranked first, while the Department of Permits – Domestic Workers topped the categories of Pioneering Division with Distinctive Value and Best Division Achieving Proactive Services. The Department of Financial Resources achieved the top spot in the categories of Pioneering Enablers Division and Best Division in Resources and Assets.

The Department of Labour Relations topped the category of Best Division Improving Quality of Life in the Society, while the Department of Policies and Studies earned the first position in the Category of Institutional Preparedness as well as Best Division Contributing to Achievement of Competitive and Pioneering Ranks. The Employment Department earned the top rank in the category of Best Division Accomplishing its Main Roles.

The Government Communications Department topped the category of Most Improved Division, while the Coordination and Partnerships Department won the Best Division in Partnerships and Integration category.

In the category of Best Ministry Directors, Hussain Alaleeli, Director of Customer Relations won the top spot; Zamzam Al Hammadi, Director of Permits and Licensing – Domestic Workers won the second rank, while Ibrahim Shukralla, Director of Government Communications ranked third.

In the category of Best Ministry Deputy Directors, Nasser Al Tunaiji from the Legal Department achieved the first position; Hamda Al Yasi from the Human Resources Department came second, while Abdullah Ba Faraj from the Inspection Department ranked third.

In the category of Best Ministry Heads of Section, Abdulrahman Al Filli, Head of Media Centre topped the list; Amal Bu Ali from the Human Resources Department came second, and Ahmad Al Hosani from the Guidance Department – Domestic Workers came third.

Noor Al Nuaimi won in the category of Best Project Manager; Maryam Ahmad Abdullah was recognised as the Best Auditor; Abdullah Atya Al Sayed won in the Best Technical Employee category; Kholoud Al Hosani topped the category of Best Finance and Accounting Employee; and Ahmad Al Awadhi won in the Best Legal Researcher category.

Other winners included Abdulaziz Al Shamsi (Best International Relations Employee), Hajar Al Khouri (Government Communications Roles), Mohammad Mohammad Abdulhadi (Administrative Roles), Alia Al Dhuhouri (Best Inspector) and Abdullah Ali Al Hammadi (Best Young Emirati Employee).
